If I copy a section from DC11 to DC13 it is pasted upside down ... unless I hit the F1 key to flip.

My question : in DC13, is there a way to change the F1-Flip setting to always on ?

I don't think clipboard coping between versions is officially supported. I'm curious to how this is working, do your Datacad versions using the same location for the clipboard files?

Not sure what you're asking Josh ... did not know there were multiple clipboard locations.

There should be a clipbooks folder in each DataCAD folder. However, why don't you just open the version 11 file in version 13 and copy it from one file to the other in version 13?

DC11 does not have clipbooks folder ...DC13 does.

Just curious as to why the copy would come in flipped in the first place.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Neil.

Do you know if there is a .ini file or such that would allow me to always have "flip" in the "on" position for DC13 ?

You do have the latest v13 installed?
I thought this was a bug that got fixed.

Are you pasting a drawing, or text?

Product update page shows v13 last update as 13.06.03.

My v13 shows 13.06.03.04(H)

Pasting a few layers from a drawing ... no text.

if you are importing all the info from the layers, why not use File / Import to import the layers you want.
