A recent wrinkle - on only one of the Win7 Pro machines in the office - when opening more than one .aec file at a time, or just one file, then trying to open a second- DC15 crashes. It's 'not responding' then, patient or not, never opens the file. User claims it's been since the last DC update. Repaired, re-installed - to no avail.

Never works from a windows dialog box to double click to open - Checked file associations - all good.
Very unproductive way of working - anyone got a clue as to what else we can try?
TIA.

Is the problem limited to one or two specific drawing files, or does it happen with all drawing files?

What happens if you choose File/New to create a new, non-default file, and then pick File/New again to create a second new file?

What version of DataCAD 15 is installed? Select "About DataCAD" from the "Help" menu to get the exact version number. If it is not version 15.04.02, go to the DataCAD 15 Produuct Updates page to download the update installer. Save it to your computer, and then double-click on it to run Setup, whichh will install the latest update.
