To all,

I thought I'd just un-install DC16 as now using DC17, but got the below message from the Control Panel - Program's & Features uninstall area. So does anyone know what this is all about...??

Over & out,
Clayton

I got the same message when I tried to uninstall v16. I had a copy of the full v16 installer and ran that and then used it's uninstall option which worked. You might be able to find a copy of the installer at

C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{0E9D81AE-03F0-42B2-A9BE-75D347CFF537}\setup.exe

if you can't find one somewhere else. Might be in a different {folder} under the \InstallShield Installation Information\ directory, if the versions are different than mine was. You will most likely have to turn on the display of Hidden Files & Folders to see the directory.

I received the same message (on Win7pro PC). I've tried uninstall through the Control Panel, the Start Menu, the original 16 setup.exe and Josh's way (with a lot of rebooting in between) and always with same message. With the setup.exe's, I never got an uninstall option. I did deactivated 16 prior to this (so that it will continue to run on my wimpy laptop) - not sure if an activated copy is required for uninstall??? Beyond that, I'm baffled.

Any more ideas???
Thanks,
Melina
