Ideas on Locating Investors?

During the last eight years, I've been planning, researching, and designing a small miniature golf course that I would like to build. You've probably seen a rendering that I did for it about a year ago, since I've posted it a few times as an example for various reasons.
I can't get a commercial loan for it because my wife and I haven't been able to save enough money as a result of medical expenses. Does anyone have any ideas and/or advice for locating potential investors? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
