I was excited to see the great work and video preview. Thanks Mark & crew for all the hard work. Great job. I am especially thankful for the videos which really help even from a tutorial stand point. I feel that once the new release is out, I will be that much closer to knowing where all the commands and settings are to all these great functions.
I have been watching all the videos that I know of which have been posted about V12 so far. If possible, I would love to see something on Paragraph Text put out as a video. Or if there is a video on that already please let me know.
Great work everyone. Hope to see more previews like this.

Hello Mark,
I would like to see how you find the intersection beetween a smart wall and a roof (Slab or Polygon) and how you extend the smart walls to the roof.

To all,
I thought the Dbug forum would have been a tad more busy with comments on
the DC forum video clips for DC12.
O.k. the quality of the videos were like looking at your TV through fog, but
all in all I see a marked step forward with the 3D walls & window/door
insertions, very different to SPIRIT 14. I liked the dialogue for the
window/door insertions, with options for viewing the door or window in the
model either open or closed & partly open. There seemed quite a few more
options on the window/door dialogue tabs, but couldn't read these due to the
video quality.
Having said that, just how far off is DC from getting the above & more to a
proper release??
In the mean time, perhaps it's time to see some promotional tit-bits on
their web site, avi/viewlet movies or just some snap shot pic's of the new
3D control dialogues.
Over & out,
Clayton. |

Hello Clayton,
I am sure this will be happening soon, as long as the Beta phase starts.
All this videos show a preview of what is being developed today, and while any feature is not prooved feasible it will not be promised.
All the new features, when actually available will be officialy announced by DATACAD LLC.
There are many people (worldwidely) like you, excited to be in touch with DataCAD 12.
Thanks,
